Every compression, resizing, and format conversion task runs entirely on your device using client-side JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas APIs. Your files are never uploaded to any remote server, cloud storage, or third party.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Because of our privacy-first client-side architecture, we do not and cannot collect:
- The contents, filenames, or visual data of any images you process.
- Any EXIF metadata (camera model, GPS coordinates, timestamps) embedded in your images.
- Account credentials, passwords, or personal identifying information.
2. Local Storage and Preferences
We use your browser's standard localStorage solely to remember your chosen theme preference (Dark Mode or Light Mode). No tracking identifiers, persistent cookies, or profiling tokens are stored.
3. Third-Party Services and Analytics
Free Image Reducer does not run intrusive ad tracking networks, fingerprinters, or behavioral surveillance scripts. Any standard web server logs (e.g., standard HTTP request routing) collect only anonymized technical telemetry (such as browser user-agent and IP addresses for DDoS protection) in accordance with standard infrastructure operations.
4. Children's Privacy
Our application does not knowingly solicit or collect information from children under 13. Since no personal data is collected or stored from any user, our service is inherently privacy-preserving for all ages.
